Structure of the DepartmentThe department of Electrical Engineering stands for high quality education and research in the broad field of electrotechnical applications. The administrative and logistical services of the department provide support for both aspects, assisted by different working groups in the department. The coördination of the research is divided in different subdivisions. The coördination of education is managed by the Permanent Commission for Education (POC), assisted by the board of teaching staff, which represents all educational personnel of the department. This service belongs to the group of exact sciences and is accessible for the whole of the university. Research groupsThe research activities of the department take place in five subdivisions. All academic and research personnel belongs to one of these subdivisions. An associated division groups the personnel that works with IMEC for joined research.
