ESAT-INSYS (INtegrated SYStems) is a division of ESAT that is associated with IMEC. The division coordinates all teaching activities of the academic staff teaching at K.U.Leuven and performing their research at IMEC. In addition all Ph.D. students performing their research at IMEC and graduating at ESAT are associated with ESAT-INSYS. More in particular ESAT-INSYS is responsible for the teaching and research in the option Physics of Micro-Electronics. Other members of the staff have teaching positions in the options ICT Micro-electronics, ICT Multimedia and Signal Processing as well as Energy. ESAT-INSYS offers posibilities for master thesis and Ph.D. thesis work performed in IMEC and related to the research topics of IMEC.
