Intelligent Mechatronic Systems (IUAP P4/24/)

This project is aimed at a system-oriented approach for the design of intelligent machines and their environments. Emphasis is on the integration of different components relevant for such an endeavour. Also will the interaction between machines and their environments and users be scrutinized. Envisaged applications are - amongst others - flexible assembly and autonomous navigation, based on input from several, dedicated sensors, image processing, and control, modelling, and design methodologies.
